The only times I don't drive my Stang are:

Family outings
When it's snowing
My wife steals it from me
Or I have no gas

Other then that, I drive it everyday, everywhere.

Why don't people drive in the rain? I understand the snow and not wanting salt on their car, but not the never been in the rain precaution.

While I do drive in the rain since it's my DD, I'm not a big fan of it because of the whole twin screw thing... even mild acceleration breaks the tires loose. I imagine it would be even worse if I had 3.73s or 4.10s.

Rain makes my car look filthy and also rusts

My Stang is a garage queen and although I prefer to NOT drive her in the rain, I will take her on roadtrips (quite a few have been in excess of 2,000 miles per trip) and you can't depend on it to not rain. But snow is another thing and since most states put salt or other chemicals down, I want to keep it a Mustang and not a Rustang.
