When ordering an 06 GT that will see more street and Southern Ohio back roads than strip, will the 06 18 inch wheel and suspension upgrade be a good enough base setup to mildly modify and will it handle 20 inch rims later without different mods to make them work?

OR should it be ordered with standard 17's and just buy the aftermarket rims and mild suspension upgades, I can do most the work myself and can get a deal on whatever I can't, which way do you think would be the most economic?.
