2011 Ford Mustang V6 gets 48mpg at the 1000-Lap Challenge

I love the rear end of the new Mustangs. Front is sorta bleh, but none of the styling is enough of a departure from the 05-09's to stop me from buying it. Never understood the hot mess everyone talks about the 2010+ Mustangs. From a distance they look like an 05-09.

I did an 1,800 mile trip in March with my '07 GT and got anywhere from 26 to 29 MPG, and most of it was interstate driving at 70 to 75 mph. That's pretty good for a V-8. My V-6 "family" sedans would have been hard pressed to get that mileage.
