I went from 3.31 to 3.73 and I'll just say...

4.10's or GTFO!

If you can't decide you can compromize and go with 3:90s

True, however, FRPP doesn't make a 3.90:1 gear, only Motive. Common opinion on Motive = suck.

Best mod I made was from the "garage hauling, boat towing 3.31s" to the satiating 3.73s.

Less city shifting; always used to shift back to 2nd to kick up some torque. Now 3rd does me fine. Kicking myself for not getting them factory installed when buying the car.

4.10s? Can't comment, no experience with them. They may do you well too. It's a personal choice as others have mentioned.

2nd best mod I made? The 401A shift ****/boot. Go figure.

4.10's - and like someone said if you have a V8 and plan on getting it blown later down the road, who cares about gas? You have to pay to play!!!!

3.90's have a terrible rep for being noisy. If it wasn't for that they would be the perfect gear for alot of people.

ya the 3.90s are crap, had them and switched within 1 month to 4.10s, the 4.10s are in my opinion too much. MPG isnt bad but like marcus said, more shifting isnt always ideal.

As stated this comes up all the time. The majority opinion is 3.73 for an auto and 4.10's for a manual. There are so many variables that we need more information on what your plans are with the car to really give you any help. If you plan on staying N/A then the above will work well but if you plan on going FI then you may want less gear depending on what type of FI you will go with. Give us some more information.
