Default What kind of deals are you getting on your 2011 Mustang?

So I've been to a couple dealerships looking for an '11 GT, and I was wondering if anyone here has gotten any good deals and how much you're paying a month and such for yours.

I bought a 2011 V6 with the 6-speed manual. I paid $100 over invoice and was given 1500 over kbb for my trade-in. Plus there was a $500 customer cash rebate and a $500 college graduate rebate that I got on top of that. Basically they were willing to deal and I got just as good a deal as any other car I have bought.

I don't know if the GT's are different, but my advice is to go in and negotiate as you would any other car. They may try to say this car is special and this and that, but in the end it is just another car they want to sell. If they won't deal wait a month and they will deal then.

Hope that helps.

What about a 2010? I hear people are getting really good deals on them. I mean they look just like the 011. I hear some on here got 2010 as low as 27k. Put a SC on it and would be at least as fast or even quicker than the 5.0 and cheaper too.

Check out www.truecar.com. They'll show you what's being paid locally, statewide, or nationwide for a particular car, also dealer cost, dealer invoice, what's a good deal and what's a great deal. It's good stuff, and it's free.

I got a GT Premium just a couple weeks ago.

Sticker Price: $35,915
Invoice: $33,647

Paid: $33000 even.

I'd say I got a pretty nice deal ...also, price is without any incentives for when the order comes in. So with rebates since I'm a student, it'll come to $32,000
