i was wondering how much any of you guys have been quoted to get gears put in your cars. i live in macon, ga and theres a place about 30 minutes from me that quoted me $450 for just labor to do it. does this sound reasonible or too high?

I had brenspeed do mine and they were 500. I didnt mind paying that price b/c there was no whine and they warranty there work. Find a reputable shop to do the install b/c there is no room for error when it comes to gear install

Install price seems to vary depending on where you live. +1 on asking around and finding a reputable shop.

I paid $375 for whine-less install.

paid 325 for the first set and then had to find another dealer and paid 425.. so it can vary.
