I have an 06 Pony Package and it has been making some sounds from the rear lately. One is a tire spinning sound on the rear driver side, which I think could possibily be a bearing. The second is a whining noise, kind of sound like the car is winding up and winding down when accelerating and slowing down. Not a clue what that could be? Any ideas anybody?

The whining noise sounds like gear whine... Do you have stock gears? And are you sure its coming from the rear? Because my T5 whines and I believe there is a TSB out for it...

yeah, what has been done to the rear end, anything? How long have you had the car? Did this just start or has something always been there? Any accidents or spins lately?
