Default Need to order gauges

Ok, since I will be ordering the X-Charger soon, I need to also order some gauges. I definitely need a boost display gauge. I was thinking I might as well get a digital one. Any suggestions for those? I was looking at AEM, it's $161.

I might add a wideband air fuel ratio gauge, I'm not sure if I really need it though. Anyone know of any good deals on those?

I remember seeing a kit where the gauges could fit in your air conditioning pods? Can anyone link me to that?

Roush makes the vent pod for mounting gauges http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=1076

If you're gonna have more then one gauge then I would get the pod that mounts in the middle of the dash board, I think it flows nicely.

Just my opinion, but I would not spend $160 on a boost gauge. You could go with 1 or 2 Aeroforce gauges and then just add a couple sensors to measure other things like boost or A/Fs.

Good, cause I don't want to spend $160 on a boost gauge. Are these like gauges that could be used for anything and then you add the sensors? Links?

+1 on the aeroforce gauge , its quite handy to be able to monitor just about everything the engine does , plus it has a 1/4 mile calculator , ( mine was with in 2 tenths of my track time and mph was dead on ) built in shift light or warning light. I love mine

I really like my Aeroforce set-up as it super flexible, but not messed with the 1/4 mile function yet. I may just need to try that out this weekend.

Here's a link to the Aeroforce Interceptor site. These gauges plug directly into the car's OBD port and can display any parameter being monitored by the car's computer. But they also have 2 analog inputs where you can hook up sensors like a MAP for measuring boost/vacuum. I am measuring boost with my set-up and it works great.

Thanks for the link. So I could buy only one gauge, and buy let's say a boost sensor and a wideband sensor and have it all plugged in to this one gauge? How do you guys have yours mounted?

Yes, you could hook up boost and a WB to one gauge, along with being able to monitor multiple other parameters via the OBD. Mine are mounted in a dual SOS pillar pod. If you are interested in getting a WB, I actually have an Innovate LC1 wideband controller listed in the classifieds. I bought it for this same set-up, but opted not to mess with it. They normally retail for ~$190.
