I think traction would be a problem with this set up...
With that said, I would invest in LCA and better wider tires (maybe Drag Radials)...
Secondly, you will need to test and retest what combination of revs at the line will give you the best 60' times and ultimately, the best 1/4 mile times...

damn, thats friggin' quick! I keep forgeting that the new 5.0 comes with a speed auto and not a 5 like the s197s..

As you can see from the video on street tires the car spun 1st, 2nd, and into 3rd... then downshifted back into 2nd. lol... and that's on a sticky track surface.
Mine did this on my stock tires on the street. It was quite annoying. So in short, 4.10's would probably be too much for the 5.0 without some spectacular tires (BFG KDW )
