Default But you (and her) are OK....

I know you are focusing on your loss, but I highly recommend that you also think about how lucky you are. You are sitting there (apparently pain-free) on your computer. Another 10 MPH in this accident and you'd be in the ER right now.

Hang in there. Let your insurance outfit go after her and you may be surprized at the settlement. It may not be as bad as you think.

In two weeks you may behind the wheel of a 2011 GT. (Black of course).

Keep us up-to-date after you talk to the insurance folks. Let them do the talking. The police report is in your favor, and you have a witness.

Take care,

Desert Dog

Sorry to see this and glad you're not hurt. Hopefully they can fix it and if they do you will certainly get a new hood out of the deal, so that is one TSB you won't have to worry about.

That ****ing blows dude.

It will all work out. Take your emotions out on the rental car.

She didn't have a license...it was her fault regardless. If you have full coverage, you will only be out your deductible until your Ins. co recovers some money and they will reimburse you.

Use these words when you talk to the insurance company:

"I was traveling straight when the operator of the other vehicle made a left hand turn and cut across my lane of travel causing this accident"

People going straight have the right of way.

Sorry about the wreck dude, that is never fun.
Consider yourself lucky if all that was damaged is your car, health and safety first.
That being said, if its not a total, find a shop that you feel comfortable with that will help you do some sick mods. Among other things, you need a new hood, and it would be cheaper/look sweeter to go aftermarket.
