passenger air bag cover removal
#2
i took mine off to replace it with IUP. DO NOT PULL IT OFF. you will F*CK it up. go through your glove box, there will be 2 bolts, unbolt them, the entire airbag unit with the cover on it will come out, disconnect it and work on getting the cover off. paint it put it on and re clip it and reinstall the airbag and bolt back in...

i posted theses years ago over on another forum. hope they help
just remember there is a small pyrotechnic charge in them so common practice is to disconnect the bat for a bit do cut down on the chance of discharge that might pp the bag. trust me you don't want your face in front of it when it goes off that close!
i remove them on cars all the time we are burning or blowing up at work all the time. except for the on time on Volcano when the guys forgot and they were popping all over the place while we were burning them. it was pretty funny

i guess at times. but working here in new Orleans till September was been a stretch. its hot muggy and it rains a lot or should i say we barley see the sky LOL. if it were not for the fact that my kids were jazzed when they heard i was offered the Green Lantern, i probably would have turned down the job.
