Default In defense of the 2011 Mustang prices...

I bought my 2008 GT/CS for 28,500 but after all the add ons/mods it comes to 34,400. Here's how:

2008 V8 GT/CS....................28,500
Pioneer w/Nav.........................700
Granatelli CAI..........................400
FRPP CAI................................300
Brenspeed tune.......................400
CDC Glass Roof......................2700
Dimming/Temp Mirror...............300
Lloyds Floor Mats.......................70
Quiet Car.................................80
Granatelli MPG Coils..................250
Goodyear Comfortred Tires........700

Total: 34,400

Almost 6000 in add ons. I've probably missed something too. How much have you all spent on your cars?

Lots say the prices are high.

Quiet Car is a paint on sound deadener. Here's their website:

I picked up a GT/CS for around 32k. Deals are out there if you look.

I have never seen or heard of that, but it looks like an alternative to some form of dynamat. I would imagine it goes on the inside of your panels?

You can paint it on anywhere. I only put it in my wheel wells, trunk, under the back seat and behind the plastic sides of the back seat under the back window. I helped for sure. I can't compare it to anything else because I've never ridden in a 05-09 Mustang with anything else. Between the Goodyear Comfortreds & Quiet Car, I have a nice, quiet, smooth ride.

Not to say that I would ever take back buying my 11' the way I did, but especially if you play around with customizations it can get expensive.

I picked up my 11' GT Premium for $33K even, options added to it were

Auto Trans
Security Pack
Accessory Pack 4 ( Ped. Spoiler and Hood Scoop)
Black OT Racing Stripe

I haven't gotten my baby yet but in around 4-5 weeks I will...which is going to make spending more happen lol. Things I'm thinking about for modifications are

Smoked fog light covers (OR) Retro Billet Grille
GT500 machined wheels + All seasons
Thinking over CAI + Tune

In total it looks like everything would come out to around $2300 + $33K = feeling poor haha
