Is there a prefferred brand or type of "H"? I need to replace the "X" I have now (new headers make it raspy)and I am looking like the OP for a good deal. So who has the best reputation?

You don't have to buy the most expensive one.
But I would get one that has a nice reputation.

Try these websites:
http://www.brenspeed.com
http://www.americanmuscle.com

They have some good brands.
^^^^ I agree, so who has a good rep?

I just went straight into a trusted muffler shop, and they installed the custom h pipe for me only for $80. The welding job couldn've been better and i love the new sound. IMO search for trusted shops who know what they're doing, cause then you'll get the overall best deals.

Skystang, did you take them a product and they installed it, or did they create their own O/R H pipe for your car and install it.

Sounds to me like you just drove in and they created it for you. I never figured a shop would be cheaper than buying one of the existing products and having it installed. Guess I'll be making some rounds soon!

Sorry to the revenue boys, but bring cash and tell them you don't need a receipt then you really get a good deal lol.
