I really don't know how long it was on the paint. I work as a Police Officer at the Port so I have to park my Mustang there and drive a partrol car that is stationed there. I would say the poop was on there for a while that coupled with the heat did the big damage. I already use Meguair products. I polish and wax my car at least once a week. I tried the scratch remover and that was a joke. So I don't see any great things happening anytime soon. I was hoping that it would fade after a duration of time. Who knows?

There are alot of acids in bird poop that damage the paint if it stays on there for a long time. I have never seen it happen in a day though. I guess he was eating some nasty stuff LOL.

The good thing is that you have wax on the car already. That should have helped.

Like the guys already said, the clay barre is your best bet. Good luck.
