Probably would cost less initially, but maybe they really would like to give someone the opportunity to get something from them that otherwise might have to wait due to lack of funds... $100 isn't alot, but definitely not anything to scoff at...

IMO, if this offer from them isn't something you are interested in then don't apply for it... Don't blast them for trying to get other Mustang enthusiast involved... I would love to open a American Muscle catalog and see my car.
