Perhaps they LOOK like they fit perfect but there's not one manufacturer that I've seen that lists their 255's as suitable on a 7.5" wheel and, if you ever do wreck due to a tire problem, your insurer could very well deny your claim. But if you're happy, who am I to argue?

My car was one of those dealership packages that they send off to a shop and it comes back with different stuff done to it, like I had the full razzi body kit once upon a time and the wheels I have aren't from Ford, also my stripes are painted. Therefor my original tires that they had on there were 255's so I just replicated when I got new tires. They don't buldge or anything like that.

This doesn't make sense. 255s should go on an 8.5-9 inch wheel. The tire would be hanging over the rim by about an inch on each side if they were 7.5s.

I'm pretty confident in my reading/measuring skills. They're 255/45/18's Sumitomos. If you'd like I'd take pics of my tire and my tape measure.

No, no. Don't bother. I was just really surprised that you could fit those tires onto those wheels. But hey, if they fit, they fit.
