Default Strut Tower Brace ? on a '10 GT

So I just picked up my new 2010 GT to replace my old '07 V6. I noticed that mine came with the strut tower brace. I thought that was odd considering mine is just a normal GT premium with the automatic. There was another '10 GT Premium manual next to mine on the showroom floor that didn't have the tower brace. Neither car has the track pack on the window sticker. However, mine did have a no charge upgrade to the P245/45R-19 tires, with the rims that have the black inset.

So what's the rationale for certain cars getting the tower brace and others not?

Not true.

If the car came with the standard 18" wheels, then no strut brace.

Upgrading to 19" wheels gets you the strut brace.

Other package upgrades also include the brace.

Do you know if it's the same for the '11? My C/S has it but I see alot of pictures without it. I'm wondering if it's because the C/S comes with the 18 inch wheels.

Thanks and yes, I meant to say "19 inch" in my post. I had been trying to figure out why some cars had it and others did not. Now I know!
