I painted my corner lenses, rear bumper lights and tails with a clear coat/black basecoat mix... I love them, don't have to worry about tint peeling or bubbling around the raised lettering, but you have to be sure that it's what you want because it's pretty much permanent.

I have the tinted tails that AM used to sell and the tint for the rear markers. I then bought VHT for the front turn signals. I'm still trying to decide what I want to do with the headlights and fogs. These are older pictures but the best I got.

Tinting the headlight looks really cool, 'til you get driving at night, in the rain, and realize that it would be great to have so can actually see the road...
been there, done that.

i used to drive with the blackout covers on, but cannot see.
so i took them off and now have 35% tint on the headlights and can see very well.

i have an all black 2000 stang and was looking for your guys opinion on which smoked lights i should go with, the tail light covers from american muscle or have someone tint them for $30/???

I picked up clear front corners for the g/f's Legend Lime and smoked for my alloy off ebay for about $40/pair and then ordered the chromed bulbs that light up amber. The install isn't a big deal and I believe there's a How-To video on the AM site. Also, on my alloy, I applied VEIL to my headlights and fog lights for a little passive laser protection which tinted the lights a bit. Sorry, no (decent) pics at the moment.
