any one has borla full exhuast system on their car? i dont care loud or not, i just heard they are light weight, so i m trying to save any weight i can.. on the other hand, hows the performance gain?

I has the FRPP (Borla) Stingers. They are louder than stock and really sing at WOT but they will drone in the 1500-1800 RPM range. You'll get no performance gains from any axleback system. As far as weight, I wouldn't call them light but you'll probably lose about 20 lbs or so over the stockers.

Have the same mufflers; seem lighter than the stockers.
Rest of system is American Racing long-tubes, magnaflow high-flow cats, and a modified Pypes X-pipe.
Sounds f'n great!

People keep whining about drone. I love mine! I don't call it drone, to me its called bass! Throw ya a set of Hot Rod cams in with these mufflers and like with my car, you can be sitting in your car behind me in traffic and feel my thumpidy thump in your seat. Pure bass tone! Not raspy and tinny like other mufflers I've heard. At some lower rpms in 5th it can be a little much but to discount the muffler for that brief rpm period is silly. These Stingers rock!

Sounds great Timm! Reminds me of the older muscle cars. Nothing like one of them pulling up beside you at a stop light. I have always been a flowmaster man, but this is making me think otherwise. Wonder if I would get close to the same sound with just putting the mufflers on my car.
