I'm putting my hood pins on tomorrow hopefully (there have been a few false starts over the past few months) and I will have to adjust my hood latch strength at the same time. Mine is one of the lucky ones where you cannot press it closed and MUST drop it from pretty high up to have any hope of latching it, and the fact the hood is fiberglass compounds the problem. I remember a few weeks ago there was someone with the same problem and someone gave him step by step answers on how to adjust the spring, and I thought I bookmarked it but I didn't. I also can't find it on search. So I hate to rehash an old subject, but does anyone know how to adjust the spring that controls the hood latch?
