Is there an option for mirror covers that aren't Xenon? I want my mirrors to match my car, but I don't like the Xenon covers' style. Would it be possible to actually have the stock mirrors painted? Has anyone tried that yet?

I've seen a few people here paint thier mirrors, both looked good. I can't remember who they are though, but a body shop can do it right and it shouldn't be too expensive.

I love the painted mirrors and I didnt like the Xenon covers too much, not sure what the purpose is anyway if you can just paint the existing mirrors?!

I like the way they look painted. The Xenon covers look ricey if you ask me.

I assume you have to take them off to be painted. Does a professional need to do it? As in do you have to sand, etc.
