so when you are doing your daily driving you don't want to have fun, or are you saying the automatic is more fun?

An automatic is good for one thing, drag racing. I have driven through countless hours of rushhour traffic in a manual, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every vehicle I've had a choice in the matter has been a manual.

I think he meant that the manual is more fun...
His DD could be in town with traffic lights in rush hour etc... so I understand the choice for the auto if it's the case.

if thats the case I probably wouldn't have a v8 mustang as a DD if its slaved to the task of sitting in traffic and red lights, but thats just me.

I can only afford one car so, I'll fight through the 'pain' of a manual, to have more fun on weekends.

5. Automatic trannys are great and allow for a different driving experience vs. a manual tranny.
6. both have their place, even in your narrow minded world.
His points were all valid. Not sure why you got butt hurt. I would add drag racing to the list, though. Other than that, what's wrong with his list?

For me, that is my situation, and as such, it is also my same opinion.

Well, I can afford another car, but I'd rather save up the money for some mods.

wishIcould, i didn't read any further so that could be why i didn't get the memo on you joking...sorry bro

as for the DD v8 thing...i can only afford one vehicle as well and i LOVE my GT as i love car cruises and driving as much as the next mustang enthusiast. i did mean that driving a manual is more fun, in my opinion but i would rather have an automatic as my DD, manual for a toy(if only i had the money)...

oh and i'm hoping monkeydump thought my points were valid because if he thinks that only lazy crippled people that don't enjoy driving own automatics i'll be disappointed.

oh and not to mention for some odd reason the only similar model GT with comparable miles and a manual was 3k more than my auto...no bolt ons, no extras...i didn't understand that

Perhaps Mr Shop Owner does not have good abilities with said automatics.
Really? Really?

Two points

1) If your skin is really that thin... to be all insulted from over hearing a conversation between two people and taking it as a personal insult... Can't believe anyone would have such a chip on their shoulder over something that innocent... if I was the shop owner, I'm glad you wouldn't do business with me cause of some other casual, taken out of context statement made throughout the day that'd get you all huffy.

2) All you other MF'ers here that totally rip people apart for saying something slightly dumb to completely not dumb at all... Look at the poor dude with the effed up 3.7 you mangled.. I've still got teeth marks from people like Pascal for posting dumb stuff... Guess it's nice you MF'ers finally show some restraint.
