That is probably smart, because with the '12 Boss and the regular '12 GT base and premiums coming out, the '11s will get alot of discount incentives just from Ford itself to move them off the lots. Additionally, the dealers will tack on additional discounts of their own.

Exactly. There are used 10 GT's going for like 22-24K around here. I'd probably pull the trigger on those but I can't see myself NOT getting the 5.0. No offense, but I just want to get out of 4.6 land lol.

I don't blame you. I actually waited until this year to get my '11 GT. Probably a good idea too, that gave me another year to save up for a better down payment.

Yeah, the key to having a good deal is to save.

A 10K down payment is a huge deal breaker in getting a car vs having little or no down payment. I plan to save at least 10-12k by next year for a 11.
