With a wife and two kids? -Pretty sure the Mustang would win...not much legroom in the back of the 370z.
My point is...who cares? You're talking apples and oranges IMO. They're two completely different cars aimed at two completely different buyers. The Mustang looks nicer, the Nissan ricer...like afixer said!
If the Nissan had a back seat then maybe you could compare them...being that it doesn't, there are plenty of two seat roadsters that I'd pick before (and that outperform) the 370z if I was in the market for that kind of vehicle.
