Default need info on straight line shifting shifter thing

Ok, years ago i had a mach 1, toploader, the shifter in it was some kind of straight line rachet shifter i think, forward 1st, pull it back to second, slam it forward for 3rd, pull it back for forth, if you wanted to downshift or get reverse you had to pull up on the little t handle.

can anybody give me any info on who made the shifter or anything else about it for that matter.

thanks,

Ron

only thing I can think of that I've used is mostly for race cars is a Lenco, cost to much to install it in a street car and it has 5 handles, each gear you pull a handle down and don't need to use the clutch unless you stop.

Go here

this one is a 4 speed

Hurst Super Shifter used to work like that,
had one in '68 Road Runner, push/pull for
up-shifts, side pressure on stick when moving
for down-shifts, had to be careful when power
shifting any side load on stick would cause them
to hang up.
