Default Just ordered CAI & Tune from ModularDepot

Just placed an order for the Roush GT CAI (same as the Airaid) and an SCT X3 with 93 & 87 tunes from www.modulardepot.com.

I really wanted to order from AmericanMuscle, but I called them to get a combo deal on the Airaid and SCTX3 but they would not do one. I would have to buy them seperately which would have cost $700. I got my stuff from modulardepot for $529 shipped. Couldn't pass up that deal.

Now I have to start putting 93 back in the tank again before it gets here. Excited to see how much this wakes up the beast.

Congrats! And with the $$ you saved by buying from MD you can order better tunes from Brenspeed or AM.

Yeah...that was kinda my thought also. I can run on these tunes for a while and if I'm ever not happy, I can always get new tunes.

The reason I mentioned it is because I suspect the MD tunes are the "canned" tunes from SCT which tend to be a bit lacking in performance as compared to the custom tunes. Regardless, you'll still be pleased with the added power and drivability.

Good suggestion. I do hope that's not the case though. They do their own custom tuning there. I did some research and found that most people that use them (on other forums) have been really happy with their tunes, so hopefully I'll be OK with them also.

I had a canned SCT tune for a while and then got a new, custom one from AM and there's a pretty good difference between the two. Just throwing it out there

How come you just didn't get the combo from AM with a JLT or C&L?
