Default How fast have you had your 5.0 up too?
GPS verified in 5th and still pulling like a freight train.

if its anything like my 4.6 its factory limited at 140. after i installed my tune i pinned that needle where the white part ends on the gauge so like 145ish

Completely stock GT Premium w/ Brembos and 3.73s I've been up to 160... that's where it is limited. I forget what RPM it's at but its under 6k lol... the car can get up to well over 160 stock.

160? My god. The fastest I've ever been in a car period is 145...

Next time you are going so fast, look at the hood...it's lifting about 1 inch from the rest of the fenders (insert scared smiley here).

Actually the hood wasnt lifting up really... I have been 160 in a truck before as well.. and much faster in some other cars. Much, MUCH faster.

I didnt notice any hood rattle.

Oh its def. there you just weren't looking for it. Mine does it anywhere over 85 or so.

Anyway to resolve this or possibly add a safety feature? Lowering the car in a certain way, etc?

im pretty sure the new body style doesn't have that problem.... ive been to 130 mph (on a track) and there was nothing.
