The league is full. Now, this doesn't mean there isn't hope for those of you that said you wanted to join but didn't PM me in time or at all. There are 3 people that have yet to register their team on espn.com, and if they don't do so in the next 2 days, they will be removed from the league and their spots will be opened back up.
So, they have until Sunday, August 22nd, at 2:15 PM. These players are 07 FltRck gt, Roys07GT, and Analyzer52. They will all be getting PMs notifying them of the situation, but if you want in still keep your eyes open for a spot on Sunday.

UPDATE: Analyzer52 accepted his spot, so there are still two that may come available.
Also, the draft has moved to 8 PM EST. This is to accomodate our other time zone members. Same day, just an hour later.
Also, if enough interest is generated, I would be willing to start up a second league of like 8 people but it would just be for fun at this point, unless I can find a sponsor for that as well. Let me know if you are interested in this.

You have a perfectly fine chance if you use the draft correctly. You can trade picks, so you can use your early second round pick as a bargaining chip, just get to work. It is a snake draft, so if you have the 15th pick, then you also have the 18th pick. It goes back and forth to even the playing field. This league requires a huge depth of knowledge, so picking the first guy on the board, while it may help, won't make a champion. Trust me, a bad draft pick can put you in a great postition to pick up two great players instead of just one.
And basing draft position off of join date just isn't fair...I'm sorry.
