Default $5,000 Aftermarket Warraty/Ford Warranty Dropped on 5.0!

Due to the back tires losing 2/32th tread evenly. I have never spun the tires nor done donuts. A few hard launches and nothing more... What gives?

Can someone link me to info on dropping a warranty due to some tire wear? That is the only issue btw. Nothing else.

I cant find any info online

Sounds like someone at the dealer had some fun with your car before you got it! What was the initial problem that you took the new car in for, only to find out your warranty was cancelled?

See if there was anything the dealership knew about the clutch-pedal issue everyone who tunes the car is having problems with. My car is completely stock though.

But they said the tires scream ABUSE

Look in your owners manual for the regional rep and deal with them. You can also try another dealership. Service managers can vary a great deal in temperment. Some are just ****** and need to be put in their place, let the regional rep do it, you don't want to be the guy screaming like an idiot in the dealership as it will work against you.

The money paid for an aftermarket warranty will have to be refunded to you or your finance company.

Let us know how this turns out.

So wait a minute.... a Ford dealer has stated to you that your FACTORY warranty is null and void because your TIRES are down to 2/32? I smell some bullsh!t man. you need to contact Ford corporate on this... Your warranty can't be voided due to mere tire wear. Additionally it has to be PROVED that the car is used and abused to the point of having the FACTORY warranty voided. The burden of proof is squarely on the dealer AND Ford.

Something aint right. Either your dealer is screwing with you to get the work as customer pay, or there are details your not presenting. In any event, you need to call Ford Mo Co ASAP.
