SSI Maniac you seem to be in the minority about issues like you say you had with your GT. You can have issues w/ just about any make. My 08 GT never had a service issue, 42,000 miles w/ usual Mustang power add-ons, and including a trip to MN in a snowy December w/ stock P-Zeros. If I lived in the frozen north, I would be looking at AWD. Nope, I'd drive my 98 Z-71 w/ 200,000 miles on it til the thaw.

I asked about the $750 Brochure rebate, nobody knew about it. The dealerships were sure as hell not going let me know about it, one less thing they have to mess with Ford about. The Ford Customer Relations 800 number was sure as hell no help either. All the beeyotch kept on telling me was "You need to ask the dealer about that."

I know of nobody in Texas who has got the Brochure rebate. Maybe it is banned in Texas.

Jim5.0, i read on other forums that the brochure $750 rebate was like a lottery ticket, one guy had to get several brochures before he got one. $1K rebate going now is pretty good w/ alphabet plans or USAA pricing, or friend/relative deal like I am waiting for.

I unfortunately do not qualify for the ADXZ-Plans. I do have USAA, but I didn't know they had a buying option. I wish I did, they would have got me my 'Stang for $27K.

I did get $1000 in rebates, I don't remember if it was the $1000 buyer appreciation or the older $500 discount +$500 for something else.

You get it from Ford's site online... every brochure has the coupon. It's not something the dealer has laying around. If a dealer doesn't have a valid reason for honoring the coupon.. call Ford.. while your at the dealer. It's straight from the source.

http://www.fordvehicles.com/brochures/

Choose the "By Mail" option and you will get it in a week or two.

I just found out on the D plan you can't use a $750 rebate, or the $500 student rebate either.

Just the 1k incentive. Again for $36, 990 the out the door price was about $33,000.
