Noob Cover Question
So I feel like a total noob for asking, but I didnt expect to see what i did when i took my cover off from sitting for 4 days. My car is black and has to live outside for now so im bought the nice cover for some serious protection.
I have a California Ultraweave cover...brand new, first time ive used it. I can see steaks of water from condinsation build up that had run down the car (it was really foggy a couple of mornings this week) but there is also a lot of very fine white/grey colored dust. the cover is grey... could the cover have dust from the factory? or did really fine dust get through the cover from the wind? im afraid that over the last few days the car has gotten covered in fine scratches but i cant see if there are any with the sun being down. should i have washed the cover before using it or are these particles from the air??

I noticed the dust too when my cover was new. I don't see it any more. I also noticed waxy little scuffs. Like an oil residue. Wiped right off but I was not happy. Eventually it stopped.
Not sure about the condensation.
