Default GT/CS Floor Mats

A friend of mine just bought an '09 GT/CS convertible. He wants to know if the original floor mats had a logo on them. I think I read somewhere they had a 'Mustang' plate on them similar to the 'pony package' mats but I have no first hand knowledge. Any original GT/CS owners know what the factory front floor mats look like? A part number would be great if anyone has it.

Thanks,

Dave T.

I agree. The Lloyd's mats are the best and I believe he already has a set in his car! What he is looking for though is the original mats that should have been delivered with his CS. I don't think he wants to use them. He'll just put them away in order to keep his CS all original for shows etc.

I bought my CS last year and the mats it came with only had a metal Mustang badge attached to the side of it. Not sure if there is a part number, but I will check.

I do like the customer pics of the GT/CS mats above. I did not see that option on the website though. I am guessing you have to special order.

Sorry, forgot to answer your other part. My car is a coupe, not convertible, bought brand new from dealer and I am the original owner. Car only had 6 miles on it.

My GT/CS just came with the mustang metal tag on the side. I actually like this look.

Thanks for the good info, guys. Is the metal plate on your mats a rectangular brushed or polished plate with the word 'MUSTANG' or are we talking about an actual pony emblem?
