Default Shelby considering twin-turbo GT500, V6 model

It looks like Shelby will be coming out with quite a few cars in the next year:

Eh while I think that is cool that shelby is going to do stuff for the new v6 it will just be a combination of readily available bolt on parts any enthusiast can ad to their own cars. That fascia is nice but its just the gt350 part I would have liked to see him instead develop a real nice chin spoiler for the 2010/11 v6 models or a v6 specific fascia like the cs6 had. I would be curious to see that fascia without the optional hood but it looks like you have to combine both?

They're over-doing it IMHO. We already have like 5 million special edition mustangs. Personally, I think the visual "enhancements" look more like cheap aftermarket instead of solid OEM. Maybe if they painted the side skirts red as well it would work better.

They should concentrate on making the GT500 a TT (fully forged of course)... so people can buy it and tune it to like 700 without having to do anything XD

just the Shelby name alone adds $20k to the price.

"The twin-turbo GT500 package would be the most radical Mustang to come from Shelby yet, with the package costing approximately $100,000. The car would feature a twin-turbo 5.4L V8 producing 1000+ rwhp with adjustable boost as well as a host of other upgrades"

that's from the article...the shelby GTS is for the '10-'11 GT/V6 models with a possiblity of the GT350 for '11 V6's while the GT500 is getting the TT upgrade but it'll cost ya
