Default Have been looking at these GT/KR shocks/struts for some time

My Mustang has the front end thunk some others are having. I was thinking about replacing the shocks & struts with these from buyfordracing.com:

http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr...id=722cPath=89

The price was $179 and now up to $209. I've seen them at other places for double that. Does anyone here have them installed and how do they ride? Smoother than original shocks?

The description says "incredible ride & stance, fits all 2005-2009 Mustangs".

Or, I can just keep cruisin' with the thunk as it doesn't seem to affect the ride. It's just annoying listening to it.

I'd look at some Koni's also. A lot of people on here, myself included, run them and have nothing bad to say whatsoever. Sam Strano, a forum sponsor, sells them on his site. stranoparts.com

Have you been to the dealer for the thunk? Its usually a strut mount. Much cheaper than new struts if your not within warranty anymore.

How do the Koni's ride? Smoother than stock? No, I haven't been to the dealer but maybe I should. The car rides good to me. Especially with the Comfortred tires.

Someone else can chime in on if they are smoother than stock. I assume so. I put mine one with lowering springs and low profile tires so my car is not smoother than stock by any means. But its not horrible. And it does handle MUCH better than stock.

Definitely go by the dealer. There should be a TSB on that thunk.
