How to remove and paint dash in 2005 mustang gt?
hi i was wondering how to remove the dash on my mustang because i wanted to paint it red to match my seats. i also wanted to paint the piece where the lock button is and the pieces where the window opener and closer is. also i wanted to paint where you turn on your headlights. i was wondering if it is even possible to take those other pieces off to paint? and what type of paint to use and how to prep for this? i dont know much about this type of stuff for the mustang. any opinions or advice/help would be muchly appreciated.. thank you!

The dash is easy to remove so if you're real desperate to have it Red, why not remove it and wrap in with Red Vinyl ? That way, when you come to your senses and realise how ugly it is you can simply peel it off... Like I did with my Carbon kit which made me want to vomit everytime I got in the car LMAO

the dash would definatley crack and peel and look terible later, and what color red? light red like torch red? or dark red like redfire?
ALSO, if your dash is a brighter color such as red be prepared to have a bad glare on your windshield as well, nobody has mentioned that flaw. i personally think thats too much red and could get a little irritating.

How to paint it?
Professionally.
I attempted to paint some stuff myself:
While it looks good from a distance, it's non-perfectness has been bugging me every time I get in the car. It also rubs off on my fingers. I'm going to have mine re-done by a professional so it can have a true clear coat finish like the exterior of a car. If you aren't absolutely 100% positive that you want to paint something, don't do it!
