stupid oil catch can question....

I thought the drivers side was positive pressure ? I have a return hose running to the vortech intake after the maf , as per Vortech , being it is after the maf , what ever is coming out of my driver side is unmetered

I think the Vortech setup is different. I never remember how the PCV is routed on those.
On stock engines and X's, vacuum draws on the PCV valve on the passenger side and driver side supplies air to the crankcase. If there's a lot of blowby under WOT boost, the crankcase might go positive and vent through the driver side.

an easy way to determine which side to put the catch can on is to look inside each PCV hose and see which one has the oil in it.
if you have both sides connected, it should be the same x charger or vortech or stock.
the FI just adds more pressure.

ok so went to a ford dealership today to get my oil changed (had a coupon) and looked at a GT compared to my v6, for a catch can to be extremely useful the GT should put it on the driver side. BUT on the v6 it is the passenger side, that is the side where it goes right into the back of the throttle body,
I think i am going to do 2 of them because as earlier stated the air flow is after the MAF sensor so i will not mess with it at all
