So, this is what happened to me today!

I was coming home from work, and my warranty is OVER indicator illuminated. :icon_deal:

Oh well, I still have the 5 year 60,000 mile power train warranty, but that may be over next month if everything goes my way. I might finally be able to afford that Whipple.

Hey Nuke, by rule of thumb....

Shouldn't I expect my water leak now?

Since you were waiting for your warranty to expire to do mods I am assuming price of things are an issue for you as they are for most people.

Bit of advice for you...If you get a supercharger make sure you have the money for a new engine just in case anything happens.
After reading and being on the forums for years I learned this.
And all of those who are very educated on cars tend to say this is rule #1.

Thus why I have stayed N/A. Even though I would love a SC.

No matter how "safe" of one you get...They still add a much bigger risk of your engine going v.s. not having one.
Not saying there arent reasonably safe ones out there.
But the tune can be just as important on making sure nothing goes wrong with the SC causing the engine to go boom, and so can many other things.

Just saying if you plan to do it do it the smart way and make sure you have the backup cash. Life throws curve balls at us all.
Have fun and be safe!

Too frickin' funny. If I had a mouthful of a drink I'd have blown it all over my monitor. :icon_beerchug:

I couldn't resist after reading your leak thread a day or so ago.

I didn't know that the speedometer turned red when reaching 36k miles. How long does it stay on? My '06 GT just turned 11,300 yesterday so it is going to be a while before I see it.
