Default $750.00 from Ford

I got a certificate in the mail today from Ford. Gives me an additional $750.00 off any Ford vehicle. Damn, Ford is making it tempting to go buy a new 5.0.

now if only they would round that to 1,000

sounds like a lot more money, even though it really isn't

You just have to google brochures from Ford and then go to the official Ford link and request a brochure for the Mustang and in that pamphlet will come the coupon.

I found out after putting my order in on my 2011 5.0 luckily I got my coupon before I'll get the car!

$750 is pocket change when it comes to haggling. With or without the coupon, you should be able to deal very close, either below or just above, invoice price. Salesmen are just drooling for people to walk in with coupons. It screams novice.

The goal is to get the coupons so that when the haggling settles out, you can pull more off the price. I don't really see it as an either/or kind of situation. If you're good at negotiating you know that what the dealer cares about is the MSRP vs. Invoice and that's all, and on top of that Ford provides incentives further to purchase their cars. So it's a win win situation when you have both.
