What gear I got?
#11
Im up on the interstate about 40 miles a day...thinkin 3.73 would be a better overall gear for me. Just guessin, but does about a 400-500 rpm increase @ 65mph sound right over the 3.31? I can live with that for the extra pounce!
Nuke current setup is auto trans, cai/tune, stock tires (235 55 17). Probably be going with a staggered setup in the spring with 18's.
Thanks for all the help guys!
Sig, I love your ride...one of my fav's.

Just so everyone knows ahead of time. The sales split between the Ford Racing 3.73 and 4.10 skus, is literally almost exactly 50%. It was like 48% vs. 52% or something ridiculous like that. So, you're going to hear both sides of the story, LOL.
Personally, I'm going with 3.73's, because
a.) The moron who I bought my car from ordered it with 3.31's in a manual and
b.) I do plan on going with a power adder at some point if she doesn't spend it all first
So, for me 3.31-3.73 is going to be a huge jump, especially after adding a charger.
3.55-3.73 is definitely less impressive, so that's why you'll hear alot of people saying "go all the way and get 4.10s". They probably had 3.55's.
An auto, I'd probably opt for the 4.10's, but again, a daily driven with a supercharger... 4.10's is right on the line of daily driveable. I have a 30 minute commute, rain or not.
If I didn't have any plans for FI in the future, 4.10's it would be! Just a weekend car? 4.10's it wold be! Daily driver but less than 20 miles a day? 4.10's it would be!
