Default Question about Brenspeed's Stage 2 Power Pack

Brenspeed claims their Stage 2 Power Pack (Steeda CAI, x-3 tuner, Kooks 1 3/4" headers, 3"mid-pipe, catted X or H pipe, Steeda {Borla} axle-back) adds 72+ HP. It costs $2649.00.

My questions are: is this HP claim feasable with this hardware, and is that a fair price for whar you get?

Here's the link to their info: http://www.brenspeed.com/coyotestage2a.html

I'll be grateful for any input you guys can give me.

The coyote platform has already proven itself to make exceptional power gains from just minor bolt ons, and a tune. Many tuners have shown, and backed up some amazing results so far. So I say that this claim is totally reasonable. Also I would believe any claims made by Brenspeed, over that of most any other tuner. They have to good a reputation to uphold.

As far as the price goes, well I can't answer that, but they usually offer some of the best prices around. They have always price matched any of the competitors, in the few circumstances where I found it cheaper.

Let us know how it works if you end up getting it.

If that price included the LT install it wouldn't be bad but when you price the individual components I think it sounds a bit pricey. As far as the advertised gains, your guess is as good as mine. Could be crank HP, could be RWHP, but it sounds a good bit high IMO but maybe that's possible on the 5.0.

If it were me, I'd add cams to that list since the gain from the LT's are magnified with cams. Maybe with the cams tossed in I'd expect to get close to those numbers. Remember: you're looking at a package for the 5.0, NOT for your 4.6L.

They wouldn't for me told me they don't do that I have beat there prices a few times. They are a reputable company but I would say shop around all those are things you can buy separately. Maryland Speed carried the 2005 to 2009 headers coated at the cheapest price around.

Also brenspeeds site in general always talks about crank horsepower not rear wheel horsepower which is often misleading to people that don't know any better.
