Silver City GT

I bought this mustang and have some questions

The dealer kept saying its a California Special and I didn't think it was, it doesnt have the CS badge.

2008, red with black stripes, has the GT Emblem, Hood Scoop, Spoiler in Front, Two Fog Lights in the center of the grille, not spread like most pictures I see. Its has leather interior, Shaker Stereo, its a 4.6 with 5 Speed Manual, Borla Exhaust and cold air intake.

Is this a regular GT or something else?

I looked all over the dash and switches and could not find the switch to turn the fog lights on, how do you turn them on??

My last mustang was an 83 GT sold in 86, its great to own another one!

Sounds like a regular GT, I believe the California specials didn't have GT badges. Take a picture of it, you should have a CS front and rear bumper aswell. Also does it have side scoops?

An appearance package is what a CS edition mustang is, I believe. Front lip spoiler, side scoops behind the door, and extended lower bumper with CS stripes. Looks sharp on the stangs...how about some pics?

That's a straight GT.
I'm not entirely sure why anyone would buy any car if it was unclear about what model it was. I mean, the value would be altered which will have a knock on effect down the line when you come sell as well as the fact that you may well come into representational issues if you advertise it as something it's not........

Blue GT Mustang

You have a regular GT with an Elanor grill. You turn the fog lights on by turning on your parking and or headlights and then pulling the switch out.

Congrats on the car, goodluck with her...I hope you didn't pay extra money b'cause the guy was trying to hype it up saying it was CS Mustang,and it's not...Please watch for the dog when your backing out..hehe

No I didn't pay extra, figured it wasn't a CS. Think I got a fair deal. The main thing is I like it and since I'm the one spending the money, that's all that matters.

Thanks for the info on the fog lights.

I'll watch out for the dog.
