best axleback/ catback setup for longtubes

I'm wanting to walk out of work today with either a set of mufflers or a complete catback. in you guy's experience with longtubes and an o/r h-pipe set up what sounds the best? I'm looking for a smooth sound with out any drone or trumpetting. Right not ive norrowed it down to the magnapack catback system but what is your guy's take on this system? anything else out there fit what iI'm looking for? thanks. BTW i work at summit racing

how about this. i already have 3 in. collectors with mid pipe and its reduced down to 2.5 at the catback. this would give me a complete 3 in. system

The best I have heard ever on a S197, and the setup I am building. I already have the mid mufflers, now I have to add Kooks longtubes and the catted X pipe. I'm going to opt for the H pipe instead for a tad deeper tone.

Since you have no cats, it may sound better with a chambered muffler though. Others may chime in for their advice.

Your going to have someone tell you one thing, your going to have a 2nd person, bash the first persons comments, and insert there own. your going to have a 3rd person, bash both, insert there own, then your going to get pissed off, go to youtube, listen to everything ever suggested, 100's of videos, and decide on your own. Your welcome for saving 2 weeks of your life.

thus is life, especially with exhaust. Its all going to be personal choice. I can speak in generalisms, typicaly the straight through mufflers with off road H and long tubes tend to get raspy. like my Violators were, that is until I got even more mods and such in, now I think it sounds great. Then you have the chambered mufflers, they tend to get deep, typically the bigger the chambers, the deeper the sound, the more drone is heard.

If I had it to do again, I would probably be giving the pypes midmuffler setup another look. I'm also liking the Boom Tubes still. My mom has the same setup as me, well with diffrent cams, and she likes them. Here is mine with the Violators and catted X
