Default 4.10's are in!(and some race car pics)

Well, I finally pulled the trigger. I decided on 4.10s and had MV Performance(Tim Matherly's shop near Athens) install them this past Friday. $400 for a FRPP 4.10 installed! Next best price I had found was $500. They put a set in a friend of mines Procharged 07 last year and he has had nothing but good things to say about them.

Got to the shop around 11:00 and they were finished right around 1:00. Great guys and a great price. I am only turning about 200 rpm higher at 80 mph in 5th gear(vs. my old 3.55s), not bad considering how much quicker it feels now! Even with my heavy 20" Saleens & 275 Nitto's it will break the back end loose(not just chirp) on the 1-2 shift. I should have done it a long time ago!

MV Performance and MPS next door had a lot of cars in the shop and parking lot so I snapped a couple of quick pics....

How do you like the 4.10's? I have been thinking about getting them. Benefits and draw backs?

Congratulations man...Plenty of people say that gears instantly makes the car feels faster.

Are you going to the Chip Foose Braselton Bash this weekend at Year One?

Congrats, I'm pretty sure I've seen MV out there at the Atlanta drag way back a few months ago when they had the all Ford show and were drag racing...

I absolutely love them. Benefits are obviously acceleration and torque multiplication! Honestly no drawbacks so far. I drive only backroads to work and never see the interstate so the 4.10's are perfect for me. I am on my second tank of gas and so far I have not seen any drop in mpg's.(and it only added roughly 250rpm at 60mph in 5th gear) It's funny, unless I am on a hill I can usually take off in 2nd and I find myself using 5th more often, lol.

Degeeze, I didn't know anything about it...when and where is it actually? Also, where in D'ville are you? I live in Whitesburg/Villa Rica, only about 15 min. from Hwy 5.
