Default Sirius Antenna Fault? What the.......?

I get that fault now in my 2011 GT. I put in the PAC-Audio adapter to add in my sub and amp. Everything works great except the Sirius Radio which gives me an antenna fault on the display.

I've checked all connections several times and nothing is missing while everything plugged in is in place good and tight.

Could the adapter be the problem? Have any of you had this issue before and how did you fix it?

Thanks,
DJ

I didn't see it in the original forum I posted it in. Oops. Maybe the mods can merge.

Where is the antenna connection? Somebody int he other thread suggested removing the negative cable for about 20 minutes. I'll give that a try but I'm not sure 20 minutes isn't over kill.

157db, I unhooked the negative like you said and still get the fault. I even unhooked the PAC-Audio adapter and get it so there is definitely something wrong with the head unit that happened when/after I installed the adapter.

I searched the Google machine, can't find any schematics or trouble shooting guides, and am now afraid I will have to take it to the stealership. That sucks very much bad since I know they are going to say it's not covered under warranty. It sucks very much badder that they would want to charge a $90.00 diagnostic fee plus labor charges which are hovering around $90.00/hr.

Does anybody know where I can find a schematic or trouble shooting diagram? And where does the Sat Antenna plug into?

This is why multile posts sork.
I put links to the troubleshooting guides online on your other post.
Seems like I am chasing my tail here for no reason cept that you
posted the same question twice.

Not much digging if you have a MAP.
On the 07-09 models the sat receiver is in the trunk behind
the OEM subwoofer on a sheitter 1000.

There are detailed diagnostic troubleshooting charts HERE...

What DTCs are you throwing?
You can do what $90/hour techs do.
They know nothing more than you do
once you get the Ford Workshop Manual.

Dude, you post a problem, asking for help, but don't post a resolution? There might be other people with the same problem (me) and there is no resolution.

I'm at the dealership righ now.

Digital_Synapse,

Was your dealer able to resolve your issue? If not, please PM me with your VIN, contact information, mileage, & servicing dealer name/state and I will assist with your concerns.
