I installed 3.73 FRPP gears they WHINE

Heat cycling is a recommended process after you get a new gear set installed. You drive the car for (mildly - around 50mph max) 15-20 min then let the car cool down for about 8 hours. I.E. don't drive it. Do that for 3 times, then drive the car mildly for about 500 miles. This process is supposed to allow the gears to acclimate.
I have also heard of people tearing into their gear set immediately and never having any problems, but heat cycling is the recommended process. Gears are a pain, even brand new FRPP ones may have defects which can cause whine.

I had never heard of that. I just drove it like I would everyday. I was wondering if I where to take it back apart and change the backlash could that help maybe go down to 0.010 it's at 0.013 now would that help?
