Well then you're in luck, as the transmission, other than being sold here, has almost nothing to do with America!

The only truly nasty TSB on the 05-08 cars was the spark plug issue. The rest of it was minor in comparison.

The water leaking into the passenger bay and shorting out the computer was a big one too..

Wow, this is a little scary. I guess Ford didn't bother testing the shifting at red-line...

I love how it's being classified as a non-safety issue. I guess I understand (safety issue==recall==more $$ out of Ford's pocket), but...to me I'd like to be able to count on my car shifting when I tell it to, and not re-engaging "abruptly" after the fact. I could probably think up a few scenarios where it could be a safety issue :P

I've never had a water leak in my car. I live in Houston and it rains all the time.

I didn't have the problem either... or any other issues with my 07.
