Will the m-20201-f fit over my oem plen cover and under my oem hood/liner...Yes I know it's for a V6...This question is a 17 page thread on another board and I'm trying to see what the MFs know...You want the CORRECT answer, you go to the source...so, anyone? Or, maybe another question...stock plen cover, stock hood, which (NOT the bullit) STB will work? Thanks in advance all!

WOW, noone? All you MFers on early weekend? Anyways, when someone searches in the future for this, here ya go...Factory plen cover, stock gt hood...The STB you want is p/n# 8R3Z-16A200-A, OR M-20201-F...Yes, the one for the V6, which actually sits higher than the V8...Same part, color (silverish), everything, and will give anywhere from .5"-.6" from plen cover top to STB bottom...Now, it seems that 05&06 will have hood liner rubbing, while 07-09 received a different hood liner (though same hood for 05-09) and have STB allowances (because all hood liners from 07-09 were the same as the bullit)...Soooo, there you have it!

Bump from cleaning up my subscriptions here...I did some extensive online research and found some reptuable guys both here (MF) and other places that confirm this with pics...Shoul'da saved my search site, but didn't...google'd both p/ns and started reading...I will update after ordering and installing, but it wil be a few months...some other goodies must come first...

it will fit no problem, 05/06 hood liner barely contacts the bar, 07/up hoodliner is designed to clear bar.
