That's a cool idea and it sounds good. Did you buy the Stingers and just cut the tips off to do this?

Also, thanks for the kind words everyone.
I'll take some more videos this weekend.

sounds like he ordered the mufflers for a Terminator then cut the exhaust and welded them in before the rear axle.
similar to a pypes midmuffler setup. but with the borla stingers, they look like they are a little bigger than M80's. and sounds a little deeper than M80's.
sounds really good.

True, but you are willing to pay for what you want.

That's correct.
The case dimension for the Stinger is 5"x10" while the M80 is 4"x14". So theoretically, the Borla's will only hang approx. 1/2" lower, which in comparison I thought was justified to have Stingers .

^ I know...they are pricey.
In comparison, if you were to buy the Borla Stinger axle-backs you would pay around $550 shipped.

The install cost for everything was $100 out the door.

the cheapest i found the stinger axle backs were like 750 bucks, thats just too much for an axle back imo, but thats just me. im looking at some borla tips though, the 4.5 od ones for like 115 bucks a pair, probably looking at a 500 dollar system but its still 250 cheaper. they also have the 3'' xr1 'race' mufflers, i see you went the the pro xr1's, wonder if the race series would have much of an impact on sound, i noticed they are about 40 bucks cheaper. thanks for reply

^ Sorry, I overlooked that you have a 2011...Wow Borla went up almost $175 because you have the new body style. That is to much for an axle back.

I don't have the Pro xr1, I have the S-Type Borla Stinger (40842S). I'm not really sure what impact the race mufflers would have on sound.
