LCA's didn't do it completely for me. Once I did the UCA and LCA relocation bracket, it was ALL gone. I despise wheel hop. BTW, it WILL destroy your rear diff if you let it happen often enough.

Yea, I hear ya. It has gotten to the point where I'm driving less aggressively as to not risk it happening too often.

It's a geometry issue. The bracket on the axle is higher than on the frame. The main objective is weight transfer for cornering, which is why Ford has not addressed the problem.

As posted by 90Stang5.0 you have to relocate the mounting points for this to "disappear". Most is done brackets that move the mounting point downward on the axle. I have not done this because I like corners and 4 wheel drifts why too much.

I have replaced the LCAs. They're cheap (think it was just a bit more than a "C" note) and extremely easy to replace... This does NOT eliminate the hop, but it helps. Also helps cornering some too. Tires alone helped in my case. Those friggin Pirelli's were about the worst tire I ever saw. Got some Goodyear Tripple Treads now and it will only hop in the rain... bit more throttle and it stops hoppin...

I have read from some other posts that if you do the adj UCA/bracket and use the lower mounting hole, that you can go back to the stock position on the LCA. This will move the COG enough to go back to stock position on the lowers.

I don't know if that is true, but I have been wanting to try it. The problem is I have to drop the gas tank and/or loosen the UCA bracket again (PITA job) to take the UCA bolt out to move it to the lower slot and so far have not found the desire to do that again.

BMR poly/rod end LCA's fixed my hop problem immediately!!!!

It took me and a buddy under an hour to have them in. It was my first mod on the car and i would happily do it agian to any other s197 that i would buy

Is it odd that I have never experienced wheel hop in my stock suspension 2008 GT? My car would either spin or dig in and go. Now my previous Trans Am.....that was another story.

I never experienced any on my 2009 with the Vortech blower on it. Maybe I just had good enough tires or something...

Even now that I lowered my car, still no wheel hop. It just digs in and goes. I do have better tires on it now.
