Default Shelby offering 624 horsepower "R" tune for 2011 GT350

It looks like Shelby will be offering the high-output Ford Racing / Whipple supercharger for the GT350

My god that is going to be fast. Stock it's fast as hell already. I like the look of it too. Love the interior!

And stock meaning without the tune!

Too bad that's crank HP and not RWHP numbers.

I think that's a nice option, but I read that just like the 720hp super snake, there is no drivetrain warrenty with that perticular setup.

A rather ugly car though, Erik

Terrific looking car. Just wish the body pieces wouldn't take so long to get out into the market.

Cool

I do like how it looks, but the one gripe I have about it is the body-colored sidemarkers and full front/rear bumpers. I adore the "chopped" look it achieves with its flat-black illusion.

GT350 = 624HP
GT500 = 540HP

What's wrong with these equations? Has Ford started a naming convention akin to golf score?
